September 2022
Hello,
Welcome back after our summer break!
Even though the stock markets have recovered slightly, the turmoil is not over yet.
The corollary of the current situation is that these conditions provide interesting buying opportunities. There are some lesser-used avenues in asset management, such as alternative products, which we like very much at Richardson because they generate interesting gains.
In
this article in the current issue of Bel-Âge (in French), we compared these products to the third wheel of a tricycle, which is essential for a sound investment strategy to pay off in a timely manner.
Typically, all portfolio management strategies revolve around the concept of a bicycle: the front wheel represents fixed income products, for stability, while the back wheel represents equities, for portfolio growth.
Patience seems to be the watchword over the next few months. This is not a time to take big risks, in our opinion.
Be assured that opportunities will eventually present themselves, both on the stock market and in fixed income. Historically, markets go up more than they go down.
On that note, be well and see you soon!
