What a difference a few months makes. Following an extremely volatile end to 2018, with global stock markets plunging, all major equity markets advanced in the first quarter of the year.
The catalyst for this market reversal was a dramatic 180-degree turn in the outlook of the Federal Reserve.

This month I joined my wife Sam along with her team from Roots and Ardor to cook a mega sized meal for 100+ people at Ronald McDonald House BC. If you haven’t heard of RMH or what this fabulous institution does, I encourage you to take a gander through their website.
The 2019 bounce appears to be suffering from a case of gravity, very strong at first but with a steady deceleration. We’d probably all agree the sell-off into the end of 2018 was likely an overreaction, to a degree. And a portion of the 2019 bounce was probably just a correction of the oversoldness.
