November 2022
Hello,
What a fantastic fall with its beautiful sunny days despite the rather chilly weather, isn't it?
Fantastic, except for the markets, inflation and interest rates though... Let's keep our faith, because everything will return to normal one day, as history has proven.
That said, we must look to the future. And in the medium term, the future is to think about your year-end tax planning. The few weeks left before we toast to the new year are coming up fast with all the projects to finish, vacations to plan and gifts to think about sooner than later.
In the meantime, here are a few things that may need your attention, such as sales made at a loss, investment expenses, contributions to registered education savings plans and charitable donations. Also, those who turned 71 this year will have to convert their RRSPs to Registered Retirement Income Funds.
In the meantime, enjoy the beautiful days that may be ahead in December.
See you soon!
