Hello everyone,
Autumn is well and truly here, bringing with it beautiful orange colors and cool days!
Unlike the weather, stock markets warmed up nicely during the third quarter.
All major indices ended the quarter in positive territory, with the TSX leading the way.
Entitled “A quarter of change”, our quarterly review, available in
English and in
French, looks back on a solid quarter, and suggests good prospects for the future.
It must be said that the work of central banks is not over, even if inflation has eased.
We take a look at the job market, with the United States springing a surprise at the end of the quarter with better-than-expected results. In Canada, there's still some catching up to do, but things are moving in the right direction.
Finally, we conclude our review of the third quarter with the question of interest rates. This element is on the radar of our entire team, who remain on the lookout for any opportunities that may arise.
