June 2024
Hello everyone,
Did you know that in June we commemorate
National Indigenous History Month?
Various activities are organized to celebrate the history, heritage and resilience of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples across the country.
This will culminate in National Aboriginal Peoples Day on the summer solstice, June 21.
If you're interested in these issues, you might like to check out the
Indigenous section of the CBC website, which features a major dossier on the Decade of Aboriginal Languages.
In closing, we’d like to wish you a happy vacation, and invite you to take a look at some of our
past interventions in the media.
The newsletter will be back in September.
See you soon!
